Hi Christine,
My husband and I had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah at Talamore in November. It's not a wedding, but with everything involved, it's really close (175 people, complete with florist, DJ, photographer, videographer, party favors, and gourmet food). We chose to make it a black tie event - Talamore's ballroom was spectacular, and the staff was incredible. In fact, we have a younger daughter, and we have already decided that we will have her Bat Mitzvah at Talamore--and that was a really easy decision to make!!!
Talamore's staff is top, top notch. They made everything easy, and left absolutely no detail to chance. They had it all covered, and thought of many, many details that I would have never come up with. Jennifer was wonderful - she took care of everything, and put my mind at ease. She worked with all of our vendors (DJ, Florist, photographer, videographer, party favors) - you name it, she took care of it.
The food was fabulous--this was a tall task, as my husband is involved in the culinary industry--he had a high standard, and Talamore not only met it, but exceeded it. All of our guests repeatedly told us how wonderful the food was. Food for 175 people is tough - and it was amazing.
The banquet manager, David, looked after everything food related--including ME!!! He came up to me at one point during the evening, mentioned that he noticed that I hadn't eaten a thing (I was enjoying our event so much that I simply forgot), and made sure I ate something pronto.
The ballroom was absolutely stunning. Our grand entrance - complete with the staircase and waterfall, was second to none. The ambiance of the two floors only added to it. Our guests danced and had a great time...
Let me know if you have any other questions. Congratulations on your upcoming day - Cindy
